Hannah Cornelius was was last seen alive with her friend Cheskin Marsh when Eben Van Niekerk, Geraldo Parsons, Vernon Witbooi, and Nashville Julius accosted Hannah and Cheslin in Bird Street. Cheslin was stoned and left for dead and Hannah was raped and stabbed at Groenhof farm.

Her assailants were found guilty of their respective crimes in November 2018
